Attentive to the expanding literature on medical performance, applied theatre in health and care, theatre-based medical education, and many other areas of research and practice, the articles collected here suggest new models of interdisciplinarity organized around the concept of a \u201ccritical turn\u201d (or \u201csecond wave\u201d) in the Medical Humanities. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.critical-stages.org\/17\/editorial-note\/\">Read more<\/a>&#8230;<\/p>\n<h6><strong>In lieu of a postscript<\/strong><\/h6>\n<p>The multitude of visions and concerns voiced in this issue point towards groundbreaking research taking place around the world. Attentive to the urgent need for expanding this interdisciplinary debate,\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.artshealthecrn.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">the Arts Health Early Career Research Network (ECRN)<\/a>\u00a0aims to foster a global community of early career researchers\u00a0whose work\u00a0lies at the intersection of the arts, humanities, health and medicine.
